High speed railway project from Jakarta to Bandung in Indonesia


The 100m Span Rigid Frame continuous beam at dk29, the control project on the beam erection channel from Jakarta to Bandung in the No. 1 Beam Yard of Indonesia yavan high speed railway project, was successfully closed in the afternoon of August 15, 2020, marking the formation of the first beam erection channel of the whole line and creating conditions for the continuous beam erection of the first beam erection section.


Dk29 continuous beam has a total length of 211.6m and a pier height of 17.5m. It crosses the ramp of the expressway, with high traffic density, high safety risk and great construction difficulty. It is the second largest span continuous beam in the whole line and also a key control project on the girder erection channel. Among them, the railway bearings of high-speed railway continuous beams are provided and produced by our company.


The continuous beam is a long-span rigid frame continuous beam project, which is constructed by Hydropower Bureau 8 of China Power Construction Group. Since the construction of the first pile foundation on October 25, 2018, the Chinese technicians led the Indonesian local staff to cooperate closely and complete all processes with high quality and efficiency, which took one year and 10 months to complete all tasks successfully. During the construction process, the Chinese construction team actively promoted localization management, effectively improved the operation skills of Indonesian workers through technical training and on-site "master with apprentice" practical training, so that they have a comprehensive grasp of high-speed railway bridge construction technology, and trained a large number of professional and technical workers for the local area.


Jakarta to Bandung high-speed railway project is the "first order" for China's high-speed railway to go abroad in terms of the whole system, all factors and the whole production chain. It is also a one landmark project of one belt, one road initiative. The total length of the project is 142 kilometers, the maximum design speed is 350 kilometers per hour, and the total construction period is 36 months
